    i know this is not what you really needed to know

    so, i'm working on some sample-based stuff with ableton. in parallel, i've also been messing around with my guitar and coming up with some relatively straightforward, but really fun rock/pop type stuff. the question now is whether to keep these two threads separate or to combine them into some unholy hybrid.

    i'm thinking i might take my chances with the latter...

    blast from the past:

    was going through the depths of my hard drive and came across the demo i recorded way back in july, 2004 for 'glacier', a song i wrote for das Glitch. it's pretty bare bones and a lot slower than how we ended up playing it [actually, it seemed to get faster and faster each time we performed it]. nevertheless, it's a reasonably interesting document. or at least it was interesting for me!

    i've uploaded it in a .ZIP file together with a live recording from the very last das Glitch gig on 13 June, 2006 for comparison:
